Give him a few months, i think he will be great, Conan was TERRIBLE the first year he was on, they were interviewing him to replace him, but he finally picked it up!

Exactly. I have never laughed at anything he has ever done. His comedy sucks. Maybe he can get Horatio Sanz to be his co-host and they can sit and laugh at their own stupid jokes that only they get.

I watched it last night (the 2nd show) he seemed really tense and rushed thru his jokes at the start.

The Tina Fey interview seemed like she was talking the entire time and he just sat there and laughed.

I flipped between Fallon and Kimmel to compare the two and no surprise, it was night and day on the comfort level and so forth.

Give him some time to work it out, he cant be worse than Carson Daly!

It hasn't been great but it's not terrible, I'll give it some time to make a fair judgment before I stop watching.

I do like that the Roots are the house band though

I've watched two and recorded three. Not great. Studio looks horrible IMO. Sometimes he won't let the guest answer the question before he's talking again. I thought Tina Fey was ok. Timberlake is funny. I'm not a Fallon fan but I'm sure anyone would need time to get their foioting.

Hell, why do you think Carlos Mencia went 3 seasons with his show? Complete an udder tools are taking the spotlight in comedy these days.

I wish Seth Rogan would take a talk show gig, as long as it didn't slow him down in the movie industry.

It's not like Fallon is the writer now he just reads off a cue card so at least half of the show is guaranteed to be funny as long as the writers haven't changed much. And the other half will get better as he gets more comfortable. But I will say he needs to try and not laugh as much cause it kills the good jokes

jimmy fallon sucks. his monlogue was way too rushed last night. all of his jokes were horrible. and what the hell is up with the bowling thing?!?! come on, is he wanting to be like conan?? hes got no timing. the studio sucks. the roots as the house band?!? i wonder how long thats going to last. i dont see him returning in the fall.

i cant wait for conan to host the tonight show with andy richter.

I think he is funny =( but I also think conan is the best!
