for the 21st time in longhorn baseball history, So. Brandon Workman throws a no hitter today vs. Penn St. for the sweep. Faces the minimum 27 batters, 2 walks and throws fewer than 100 pitches. That, my friends, is impressive against any team.


9-0, not a bad start but it's still early.

i played with a bunch of those guys back in high school summer ball, im not sure how many have graduated and who is still on the squad though.

Only 3 kids on the roster NOT from the Lone Star State...and they're all from California.
I guess Auggie's little DUI incident didn't affect the team at all! I haven't really followed Longhorn baseball since Gustavson coached the team, until they get to the Big 12 tournament. After this, I will make it a point to watch them when I can.

what tourny? the big 12 has some round robin pos. They haven't had a true tourny sense the '03 or '04 season. It really does suck is my point

Exactly. It's one reason I've not followed it the last several years.

i haven't the slightest clue why they started that shit. But i'm sure i'll go watch whenever it comes back to Arlington
