So does anyone know if this passed? Why do they keep insisting that blowing more money that we don't have is a way to get out of debt?

A billion here, a billion there..... soon you are into some real money.

What "our" government is choosing to do by blowing these billions of dollars is to me a last hurrah.... we'll never be able to pay it back, and it will either lead to war or the bankruptcy of the US.

Nope, believe he just released the budget and it was over 3 TRILLION dollars!!!
