Who's got what and how do you like it/them. Do you have it monitored?
I'm in the market for one right now and would like opinions from actual people instead of the made up shit they always have as testemonials.

No contract.
Plus, you can place a deposit and get a cellular transmitter so you don't have to have a home phone line.

Search buttons evidently don't work well on this board.

The search function works just fine. I looked through threads but some of them are old as hell. Thanks for the informative post.

Do you have an alarm panel, or do you need one? If you need one for the love of god stay away from ADT. They'll fuck you for "just $1 a day" which turns out to be $365 a year. I suspect that their panels probably cannot be modified to work with other monitoring services but I don't know that for sure. I own my own alarm panel and switched to watchlight for monitoring, $100 a year. Had to reset and reprogram the panel since ADT installed their own programming into it and would not give me the programming code, but watchlight helped with the reprogramming.

we had Hawk, then switched to APX, new hardware, better system as a whole, got everything hooked up except the garage, was not aware it was not done already, Has a Honeywell unit, aux pad in the master that has full functions but is the size of a light switch. pretty slick, hope not sounding like a moron rookie on alarms,. but still works great.

Ranger American did the install and it's monitored by ADT. No complaints so far.

I have watchlight too, had my own system and they also helped with the programming.
