So what do the people that have paid all their bills get? Don't we get some type of bonus incentive?

No. You're responsible. Obama needs to tax you to death to pay for the money he gives to the irresponsible people.

Typical DFWS knowledge. The plan calls for tax CUTS for families with income of less than $250K. Try again.

You get the knowledge of knowing you were responsible, a good credit score, and not having to worry about losing your house. Oh, and if you want, you can obtain a super low FIXED rate mortgage now as a refi or to buy something else.

What about the billions Bush gave to irresponsible banks on wallstreet to bail them out while the ceo's were only making 500 million per year ?

Who should pay for that ?

Oh please. Where's the money going to come from? In the end, all the consumers are going to get doinked because of tax increases on companies and the "rich".

Plain and simple, he's rewarding bad behavior and giving naught to those who are fiscally responsible.

I don't agree with any of the bailouts. And I blame the board members for paying CEOs insane cash amounts when the company fails.

And how is that any different from bush rewarding the wallstreet investment banks for bad behavior by bailing them out with billion of tax payers money ?

Where's it going to come from ?

It sounded like bullshit to me, kinda of like me calling AmEx last night to offer to pay off my card to recieve a 300.00 AmEx gift card, they said that offer was only for deliquent or defaulted accounts :grumpy:

So wait a minute? You want the government to rub two sticks together to help pull us out of a bad economy an the defecit Bush left behind? I'm confused. I've heard of the "Money tree" before, but I've never seen one.

If AIG would have failed our banking system would have collapsed the moment it happened. I'd never expect you to understand that though since USA Today didn't illustrate it in a pie chart.

And those tax cuts will be worth what after inflation? Also, are you idiotic enough to believe that raising taxes on businesses will not affect the employees one bit? You don't think any cost cutting will go on to offset the tax increases in the form of layoffs, hiring freezes or wage freezes? Keep drinking the kool-aid....

Where are you reading anywhere that I want the government to pull us out of a bad economy? It can't and never has successfully done anything in the US of A's past. The only thing it can do that effectively and directly affects the economy is raise and lower taxes. Raising ain't the answer here.

How do you think dumping tons of money that the government doesn't have into programs that aren't going to anything for the economy is going to work? You do realize just making/printing money doesn't add value to the dollar.

Obama is right, the checks are in the mail, only they are going to all his cronies that put him in office in the form of earmarks (that aren't really earmarks according to him) and pork.
