A relative's gas water heater went out and we need someone to install a water heater in the home.
Does anyone have any GOOD references for me?
Does a plumber have to do this?
Any recommendations on the difference in water heaters(I'm clueless!)?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Thank you.
I am in Hurst.
Yes it is easy.
All you really need is some copper line ($10) cutting tool ($5) a torch kit. ($10). The water lines should be already threaded. Remember!! If you want to go code get a drip pan ($20). Coated gas line ($15). If you hire a plumber, my city charges $150 for a water heater replacement PERMIT. So get ready to tack that on to the price. Or F**K them. Do it yourself. Hardest part is picking it up.
