Surprised no one has been talking about this, lowest level it has been in 6 years, and is steadily going down.

Where is everyone that was saying we hit the market bottom last week?

If you are referring to the "Market Bottom Forming" thread I posted last week -> http://dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=383278 , then you did not read the article, but only read the headline. :kabong:

Guilty as charged. I read the thread but not the link. Guess I missed a article I shouldn't have?

The sky is still falling, everyone has since run for the hills.

Seems like you can pretty much short any stock and come away with a profit. Ofcourse I'm not brave enough to do that, so I just watch my stocks tank daily.

I know it sounds a bit alarmist, but it is the lowest point in six years.

That wasn't meant to be a shot at you. Everyone just seems to keep freaking out every time the Dow drops another 100 points. I'm just waiting for the bottom when everyone will think it will be business as usual even though it will take some time to go back up.

I'm sitting here watching my portfolio evaporating before my eyes... I wanted to sell some off last week to supplement my cash position, but it won't stop going down long enough to sell it...

I'm beyond frustrated right now.

I read he's down about 10% on his job approval rating in the first month. So by 3/20 he'll be at around 50% and as the honey moon gets more and more distant to people it will fall faster than the DOW.
When Stimulus II is introduced he'll fall to sub 30%.

Bullets will start flying if they propose yet another "stimulus" package.

Well, I feel better now about not saving enough for retirement. Looks like it would have gotten wiped out anyway.

Looks like it has rebounded back into the 7400's, but dropped to 7250 at one point.

No shit! I was always frustrated I hadn't more saved for retirement over the last 10 years, wished I would have bought back then, etc etc. This is like a do-over!:arms:

Makes me really glad I sold some (very) minor investments to buy my '57 Chrysler and some Hemi parts, lol.

The car is holding its value... nothing else I have is.

Inside information tells me that GM and Circuit City are solid buys right now.

The mid-day low was the lowest the Dow has been in 11 years.

I have had all my investments in money market fund since last January. It isn't sexy but I have not lost anything. :arms: I am waiting for about 600 on the S&P500 or the housing prices to go up two months in a row.
