Last night as my girl was washing off some veggies in the sink the water cut off out of the blue. Every other faucet in the house works just fine and even the water out of the fridge still works fine. I checked the valves beneath the sink and everything is good. Any ideas on what could cause that?

make sure nothing in the house is using water and go see if the meter is spinning.

I remember a similar thread from soneone on here a while back, and he had a water softener that caused the problem. Got one of those by chance, or a filter that filters the water before it enteres the house?

disconnect the faucet and run water straight from the line to eliminate the faucet.

do you have a vegie spray? if yes then might just need a new stem in the faucet, and if you cant do that just get another faucet like a moen or price phister. if no on the vegie spray you probably need to take the cap off the end of the faucet ( where the water comes out) and take it apart then clean it out and reinstall.
alot of times you will get trash in the cap preventing the water to flow thru it. if your house is a 94 you should prolly just replace it, you can do it for under a hundred bucks and get a decent faucet
