Anyone planning to attend?

http://www.txshowcar.com/

I will have my truck in the show....planning to take it in and get setup on Thursday. Which BTW, that's an easy day to just walk in and check everything out for free while folks are setting up....if you aren't planning to attend over the weekend.

I'll swing by and check the cars out once everyone is moved in. I work there so it should be easy enough.

I will be out there either Sat or Sun. My future father in law is part of the Christian Cruisers and has his car in the show.

I went out Friday around noon, before they opened, and was able to walk around and look at everything. There is some cool stuff out there. I liked most of it with the exception of some of the late model corvettes that those old dudes have ruined.

Went this afternoon. Lots of cool old cars, lots. Saw Rheemo's truck and Kendra's Mustang. I'm sure there were some guys there from the board, but I was too busy looking at cars and keeping up with the lovely grandaughter. She loved it, she's 5.

I walked through it last night and got a ton of pics. They are in the process of being loaded at the moment. I loved the 55 red and black chevy 2 door on the first row.

This was the first time I went and probably the last. Maybe I'm just getting burned out on car shows. There was some nice cars there and some that didn't belong there as in quality. It might as well been a Super Chevy show with all the Camaros and Corvettes, which are not rods or customs. Whats up with all the late model stuff there? I was expecting the 30's and 40's rod and lots traditional stuff also. There was some rods but, I dont think there was one tradition 60's car there. There was some very nice 100k cars there though. Bascically to me, it was a mini Autorama with the same ol stuff, with a few neat things sprinkled in.

Thank you sir. Ive worked very hard to get it where it is today. Im very proud of it.
Did you go through my progress book? Theres still some stuff I want to do to it.
I need to replace the brackets that hold the bumpers on, I wanna replace all of the molding around the windows, replace the glass in it.

Oh, and do you use the Mooreshine polish? That stuff is BADASS. I used the polish on it and it brought the metallic flakes out of the stripes like crazy. And I used the metal polish on my wheels and bumper, man its like a miracle in a bottle.

I had a few folks stop by and say hello, but not many from this board. I tried to catch up to Kendra a couple times but we must've been on different schedules b/c every time I stopped over there she wasn't around.

Anyways....nice looking 70!

I didn't expect anything, but ended up with 3rd place in my class. :D

The vendor that was next to me said you stopped by i guess late friday night, he came over and relayed your hello to me. I had no idea what you looked like or I would have said hey back, I think I saw you as I was leaving tonight, taking your truck to the parking lot. Very nice truck BTW. I got 2nd place in Mild Hardtop. I felt good considering the other stangs that were there were all trailer queens and probably frame off restoration. I had a great time hanging out there, so I cant complain.

Went with a few of the boys on Sunday morning. It was a lot of fun, and Rreemo's and Kendra's rides looked great. Kendra, I wish the paint on my fastback looked half as good as yours does.

There was some good, and some bad (latemodel Guido-Vettes), but overall it was just nice that it was indoors since it was so damn cold out.

I did get a little worn out by the wanna-be Oakridge Boys Super-Christian beat down stage performance, but oh well.
