Its a pretty addicting little game. You are the Manager and you create your own Free Agents. CPU teams will send you offers to join a team for a couple seasons. You can also deny the offers and wait for a PeeWee team (human owned team, lvl 1 players only) - You are able to buy teams or create more players (with flex points )

If anyone signs up to create a player please let me know... I have created a PeeWee team and need positions listed below to start the next season.

What is Goal Line Blitz?

Goal Line Blitz is a browser-based multiplayer online game based on American Football. It is assumed that you know at least some of the rules of American Football. For a brush-up on the rules and positions, check out the Wikipedia article.
What can I do in this game?

Goal Line Blitz gives you a couple of options, depending on how you want to play the game. You can create players, level them up, and participate in a team's attempt to win the championship. You can also gain control of a team and set tactics, recuit players, build your stadium, and more. This is a truly community-based game. You should get to know some of the users on our forum. Most would be happy to answer your questions or recruit you to their team.

yeah its kinda lame right now... but when you are trying to put together a PeeWee team its rough.

I decided its pointless to have "extra team money" on a PeeWee team. The money is restarted at the end of the season and you have to re-sign all new players.

I'll be buying a casual team after this season lvl 6 to lvl 16 players. If you guys that signed up are still active i'll send offers.

Season starts tomorrow! Just remember to check on your players every couple days to spend the "training" points.

Just a pointer to consider, the skill points you put into the special ability trees are useless until about level 27 from what I understand.

If anyone else from dfwstangs signs up i'll send them an offer to play.

How do you get flex points to level? It seems you have to buy them or get referrals. Is there another way to level? I did my training. I was waiting for the 5 points.

you can level up by using the "training" points. The game gives you two training points everyday. When you use the training points you will notice the XP (experience) numbers climb. You also gain XP for every game you play in. Once you reach 1000 XP points you will level up and then restart the process until you reach 1000 again. You can rush the process by boosting to a new level using the flex points you mentioned.

Takes some time to level up without boosting... normally a couple games.

in peewee all the passing game is shit

the WR's at these low levels can't catch just yet.

Big Studly is doing a hell of a job getting the strategy/tactics correctly setup for the team.

We just need to work on the O front line and getting some more passing/rushing yardage.

since your guy is so balanced, I don't think one stragety will be more of an advantage over another at this point. Plus, with everyone at such a low level, the tactics were based on the game plan, not the personnel. As our oponents change and show different tendencies and your players develop, the strageties and even positions might even change.

Like last game, we didn't have to worry about the pass, so I used a speed corner to blitz off the end to get into the backfield. I remember one play in particular, if the CB had made the tackle, it would have been a 6 yard loss, but only ended up being a 1 yard loss.

The next game we play a more balanced team, so we will probably send the CB's back to their position. Maybe use a safety in the OLB position to help out with the run and maybe blitz with speed. I haven't researched this yet, just an idea I am going to try and implement.

the defensive game plan won't matter until we can tackle. Last two teams we played had power backs which are very effective in this game. Until some people build up their tackling and strength instead of speed and agility, every time we run into a power back, we are going to get rolled.

I extended ownership for next season. Everyone will be dropped from the team because you can only start a season with lvl 1 players.

I am going to retire my peewee players (and receive some flex points back) after this season and start over for next season. If anyone else wants to do the same i'll resend the offers for next season. :3some:

Ugh.

I dunno, I'm not too too worried about my str/tackle right now. My str could come up a little, but I am not missing many tackles. I've had one game with 2mtk, all the others have been 0 mtk. I still think I need speed/vision/agi to get to the tackles as I only had 3 this past game and only have 1 career TFL (str would help there).

it isn't one particular player that is causing us to lose. The strageties are not difficult, they just run the ball up the middle. We have no depth at LB, and what we do have can't match up with the other teams. I even think we have 3 intactive defensive players. We are just out manned at the moment.

Unfortunately, we have a handful of "slow levelers" on our team. People who aren't leveling/modifying their players/stats and are just sitting on the team till the end of the season to get experience.

that is what I am fixing to do...you can gain more for training by waiting to put your xp points in an attribute. It works out better in the long run.

But if he could make it to a level 3-5 before season ends, wouldn't that make him ahead for next season when he gets signed? Can the team sign players above level 1 when next season starts?

if you want to stay in a pee wee league, you need to be a level 1.

also, I don't think you get experience if you aren't on a team..if you do, it would be very minimal. Of course, that is assuming you couldn't sign on a pee wee team in the middle of the season. You might be able to. I see a lot of teams with CPU players.

Be advised, being a low level sucks. The game really doesn't get fun until you get above level 15 or so, when you can make an impact. Even at that, you would probably still be stuck in a BBB level league playing against higher level players anyway.

I have a level 41 HB that jumped to AAA this year. Rushed for over 5000 yards last season and 79TD's in A league. This season I am averaging just under 4 yards per carry and doing nothing, because I am out leveled by about 5 levels.

you will be put in "free agent" mode.

You will have to create Ad's in the marketplace looking for a new team. Higher level teams can extend contracts for more seasons. PeeWee is 1 season contract only.

no, pee wee is level 1 only. That is why I suggested to just do it at the end of the year.

It's hard to have a high average when we have been running a ton. Last game my guy had no yards and 1 drop so I am guessing he was targeted once but hey that's the game.

1st and 2nd quarter we performed great... 3rd we fell flat on our face.

there is something called a greasemonkey script that when you install it, you can pick and choose which two categories you want to train on. If you look at the GLB Wiki page, I think there is a link to it.

You still can't choose any combination. Has to be the same as regular intense training. It just makes it easier to read.
