We're going to see a friends band play on 3/7 at J. Gilligan's in Arlington. It's at 400 E. Abram (link below). His band is playing around 9pm until around 1am. Anyone who wants to come hang out is welcome!

Hope to see ya there! Jodi and Eric-you guys BETTER be there! That's the place Chili and I met you guys at for your engagement party then had one of our first dates. :o

Is it Moving Atlas? My friend invited me to go watch a band on 3/7... not sure if it's the same one you're talking about. That's my birthday. :) But I'll be out of town.

I know-we either book something way in advance or decide to do something two hours beforehand. :flirt:

College kids spend tons of money there and it is not like they're remodling the place on a regular basis.

Oh, I'm not arguing that point. I used to be one of those kids. The thing is, it just get's dirtier and the service gets shittier with each passing year and it wasn't anything to brag about 10 years ago. I know more and more Arlingtonites who can appreciate the history associated with that place, but flat refuse to set foot in there ever again. To me, the soul of that restaurant deserves better and it's a shame that the owner won't give it the staffing and monetary attention it desperately needs.
