A-Rod is holding a press conference to discuss his use of steroids. Not sure when it's starting, but you can hear the reporters in the background getting ready. I'm staying tuned!

He keeps talking about how young and naive he was. He was fuckin' 25 years old! There are guys who's job it is to shoot people and get shot at that are SEVEN years younger than that.

Sorry guys, but I say they need to back off. He admitted it, has tested clean since and so forth and so on. Can we please just move on to the next issue already. There are worse things out there. :firedevil:

Great, just what we need....more government involvement. :thinkerg:
Let his "employer" handle this. I mean for goodness sake. If any of us with jobs that require "piss" testing came up positive, we would lose our jobs. Same should go for him (unless there was no "real" rule for them at the time).
Hell, I don't even care. Give it to them all....it might make the whole game more entertaining.

Yeah, that's some bullshit.
He was coached extensively before this. He had like four generally vague answers for every question.

the best part about all the steriod talk is that Jose Canseco was telling the truth the whole time LOL

It will last until the next big name is thrown out there. It happened with Giambi. It happened with Bonds. Now him. But I must say that I am tired of hearing about it everytime I turn on any sports channel or sports radio.

You're right, and it's hillarious! They all tried to discredit him and his book, and it turns out that he was very reliable.
Now...ARod is gone for 6-9 weeks for a surgery that wasn't even going to happen a few days ago. Makes you wonder if his waning popularity is the reason he decided to take the time off. All the sac-swingers of his have pretty much dissappeared I guess. All those records he was going to break will have a nice "asterisk" by them if he does.
