Im not sure if I can make it or not, should I give my info anyway?

I just finished up getting an engine swap done, and Im not sure about the reliability. It still needs tuning done. (sounds and smells like an old 60s drag car) I can drive it up and down neighborhood streets, but Im afraid that it wont be able to make the 4 mile journey. Hasnt died on me yet, but with construction and all, I worry that there will be no where for me to pull over should something happen

Also is this a real show or one of these?

Its a rebuilt 86 302 bored 30 over with a e303 cam, GT40P heads, shorty headers, Cobra R intake w/ spacer and a CAI. We drove it to the oreilys last night without any problems (which is almost as far as the texas twister) My husband said that its safe to drive and wont die. I just cant do any burnouts (7.5 rear end) and I have to be real careful with it because the x pipe doesnt have a flange on it, so it scrapes in certain areas. My cousin discovered an exhaust leak, so we have to take care of that before we fully tune the car. The computer thinks its running lean, and a light will come on when we drive, but also come off.

There was nothing wrong with my old engine. Just missing 2 cylinders and wasnt shiny enough. Im sure you know how that is :biggrin:

Yeah, Im kinda curious as to how many people showed up. I think that even if Carroll Shelby was there signing autographs I probably still wouldnt have gone due to the temp. I dont care if you all call me a sissy.
