I just purchased a Snowball USB microphone made by Blue. For $100 it sounds badass! I can't wait for my Sonar home studio software to get in so I can start making some songs. I'm not sure how, but I might try and upload something here soon. I'd like to apologize in advance for any mistakes I might make since I don't have any way to edit the shit yet. :D
Oh yeah, no software is needed to record. Works with the windows sound recorder.
Quick little 76 second clip here. Like I said, sorry for any mistakes or background noise. The mic was just placed about 1 1/2 ft from where I was playing, recording sound is only on 25% so you might have to turn the speakers up.
