Most people are going to recommend going to a professional to have it fixed. I don't have anyone particular to recommend though, sorry.

This is the truth... that thing can do some damage if not put in properly.

Quit yer bitchin'. The link also has some good information in it and someone local who replaces springs. Your previous post stated to have a professional do it but you don't know anyone to recommend. I added that info.......all in one link.

I've never used him personally, but Tommy (http://www.northdallasdoors.com/) gets lot's of recommendations on another local site.

This guy is a contractor for Lowe's. He's done two doors/openers for me this year and I'm sure he does side jobs.
