I am under option on a house right now and we are checking it out to see if we are going to ask for any repairs.
In the house there is a single sink with counter top and the sink has a crack in it. The counter top and sink are all one piece (cultured marble, i think). Anyways I'm trying to find out about how much it would cost to replace the counter and sink.
Can someone give me a ballpark figure? I have no idea how much this stuff costs. The counter is only 3 or 4 feet long.
There's also a crack in the double sinks in the master. The sinks and counter in there are all one piece. It's probably about 6 feet long.
I'm just trying to get a price on somes options (granite, marble, regular wood/whatever the standard stuff is). I'm not looking to spend a whole lot, like under $1000 (that's probably top end).

The first sink will cost u around 180.00 and the master should cost u around 300.00 or so. Call Builders marble in Farmersville. If u need faucets let me know I run a plumbing supply.

Good to know. the master sink is probably some standard demension, i'm just going off from what I remember seeing a few days ago. If I'm over there in the next couple of days I'll get better measurements.
Thank you both for your help.

Why would both sinks have cracks in them? Was this a rental property or something?
My first concern would be finding out why a house would have two sinks in separate areas of the house with cracks.

i think it was just a bad batch of cultred marble sinks that the builder put in the house. it is odd for it to happen but i'm not to concerned since we will be replacing it with better materials. these are the only two bathroom sinks in the house so once they are replaced there aren't any other that might break in the future.
I'm taking one to the dump this week end if you want it you can have it. Single sink, in Plano, not sure but it's rather long like 4ft
