Anyone interested in a GTG, I was thinking just something in a parking lot or resturant. My stang is a pos beater, at least one of them is, the other isnt ready yet. I know I dont attend any of the DFW GTG, so I figured we could have one locally for the east Texas guys on here. Anyone interested???

Today in Tyler there was a GTG by a bunch of folks on texas-racing.com at Buffalo Wild Wings. The March meet will be at On The Border in Tyler: http://www.texas-racing.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2721

Last month we got together in Kilgore. I'm sure there will be a Longview meet soon.

I'll offer up my parking lot in Longview for one if anyone is interested. It makes for a great Saturday night spot. There's a few restaurants right around the corner from here as well.

So 2-7 works for me, if not then it will be 2-21, cant do 2-14 because of the holiday.

2-7 or 2-21 guys, doesnt matter to me, so you guys pick the date. I think 2-21 will give more time to plan and more people may show.

What better gift than to get her out of your hair for the day? Or vice versa for the nice guys.

LOL, you arent married are you!!! Yeah, I gotta do the whole valentines day thing. Since its already Friday, and I wanna make sure there is plenty of time for folks to plan to be there.

GTG will be 2-21-09. Any complaints about the date just let me know. I think im gonna try to get the heads swapped out on my 89 before then, although I doubt it will get done. :sad2:

nope, not married. And if i keep listening to friends and guys at work about theirs, i won't be getting that way for awhile lol


i'll be in Dallas partying for my birthday on the 21, so i'll catch the next one.

Good deal, I would hate to show up and it just be 3-4 people. That would be ok, just wouldnt be much of a GTG.

Do we have a idea how many folks will be coming out Sat. night to hang with us?
I think Im gonna stop in Pittsburg on the way and ice down a few beers (and Dr. Pepper for myself, I dont drink much) for the GTG. I figure I started it so I should be a good Co-host and bring beverages :shrug:
