I'm moving out of my townhome and they're conducting a walkthrough tomorrow to make sure everything is in order. My room mates and I spent the better part of today cleaning everything from top to bottom, inside and out. I think we'll probably end up being alright and getting most of our deposit back, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with moving out of a leased living arrangement only to have the leasing agents find something really random that was wrong with the place that they could blame on us. I feel like we've gotten everything, but I don't want to leave any stone unturned. Anyone got any advice in this area?

The only thing that always screws me is the shit i miss on the tour of the joint when you first move in. They know that the baseboard in the closet is missing. You miss it boom 40 bucks gone off your deposit.
Alot of those fuckers do shit like this.

I lived in an apartment once for almost 2 years with 2 dogs...900 sq ft one. Both were pups..punched a hole in the bathroom door, normal wear and tear. Got my deposit back and I expected them to keep it. :)

Turns out, everything went well, everything looked good. The only thing that was questionable was the carpet, because they usually want the tenants to have the carpet professionally cleaned. We might get docked $100 for that but everything else seemed good.
