The molding on my car is aluminum i just want to know if i can polish it..ive tried in some spots with wheel polish but it almost seems there's a surface coating on it..it doesnt seem to get any shinier..has any one had success polishing this?

This stuff works awesome! Try is with the powerball also.
I bet there is clear on them, I bet if you get that off then polish it will look brand new, but without the clear you are going to have to polish them more frequently.

Its "anodized", that's the surface coating you are seeing...unfortuntely it cannot be polished via conventional methods....you can remove them send them off and have them re-anodized by a number of sources(which is usually expensive), or you can do dallas mustang or any other mustang place and get new ones(cheapest)....
