Well, I'm gonna be the guinea pig on this one I guess. Just got a 5 lb jug of the chocolate in from fed-ex. Paid 30 bucks, so it's fairly cheap. Taste is definitely different from whey and casein, but not bad at all. Mixes very easily. i've read alot of good things about it. Here's the info.

Sounds pretty cool, though I don't know how much I'll buy "superior to whey and casein proteins for increasing muscle mass." How is the taste different? What did you mix it in?

Close, http://wheycheap.com/ and for 25 plus 5 for shipping, for 5 lbs, I had to give it a try. They update it everyday at 11:00 am. I have bought a ton of stuff from that site, it's an extension of the bodybuilding.com store.

I can't describe it, but after so long, you are used to a certain taste from whey and casein. this is a little different. So far I have tried it mixed in water, which was good, and skim milk, which was better. It's a very fine powder, almost like flour. The nutritional stats are incredible for the price. I am super Soy intolerant, so I was worried it might set me off with the worst gas, like Soy does, but it hasn't.

It doesn't taste bad to me, but I think it's about 50/50 with people. Either they like it or they hate it. No shits, not even a stomach gurgle. I've already taken two shakes with two scoops in each.

I'll be honest, after a couple years of taking Isopure pretty regularly, I was pretty down on my body after learning (and experiencing) all of my friends having sick nasty Isopure farts. Even though it's pretty undesirable, I started to feel left out...as if there were something wrong with my body not producing these room-clearing odors...and I started to desire this quality for myself to posses. Still waiting on that one, but I guess I'm just not a farter after all...

Go use some soy protein. Or eat a couple of cans of chicken breast. The soy is the worst.

Dude, I've been downing chicken on the daily, bout to go make some now, and I get nothing.
Hey, if you're super soy intolerant, why were you taking it? I mean, nothing wrong with soy, but it wouldn't be my first choice of proteins at the store...

I wasn't, I just bought a small jug to try out, and bam! Then one day I tried some edamame, and once again, bam! Then, just to see, I put a lot of soy sauce on some rice, and, you guessed it. I bought some protein once that was a combo of different sources, and didn't realize it had the soy until about 20 minutes afterwards. Through a series of unfortunate soy events I learned to double check labels for soy.

I can eat regular breast and get nothing, but if I eat a big can of the canned chicken breast, I get the gas, and I can smell it in my piss. You must have the digestive enzymes of an alien.

I'll take that as a compliment...I think...
I'll eat chipotle, or other mexican food, or italian, and it rarely gets to me. Beans however really jack me up...I couldn't finish a workout the other night because my stomach was so jacked...

For gas eat half cooked pinto beans with garlic broccili. They must be half cooked and a little cruchy still.

You work firefighting? Honestly, I've been really considering going to some form of fire training academy to live out every kid's dream of becoming a firefighter. I think I would really fit into the job well. Don't know much about the process though, and I've heard it's competitive with few hirings...

Yes, it's the best job in the world. If you have questions you can pm about it. You can test for some cities with just High School. Most require Fire/EMT certs however.
The best thing for you to do is put yourself through Fire Academy and test as many places as possible.
Starting pay for a lot of DFW cities is over $50k right now.

Well, day two, four shakes in and no gas or bloat. I think I might have a cheap source of protein, if it works out. Worse comes to worse, I can cut one scoop whey with one scoop of the gemma, and really stretch out the jugs.
