Before I start, I know I need to post an add in the classifieds, I just wanted to guage the amount of interest there is/isn't before I go through the trouble of doing so.

Anyways.

A while back, I posted about buying the .357 SIG Springfield XD.

I've had it for a month, maybe two. It is a great little gun, loud as shit, and a pleasure to shoot. However, I don't keep it for a home defense pistol, that's what my .45 is for.

I'm considering selling it to compensate for buying something small enough for CCW purposes.


So, would anyone be interested in it. Comments appreciated, so I can decide whether or not to put an ad in the classifieds.

The most expensive gun I own is my carry gun... If you have to sell the XD to buy what you want, I would. I guess it all depends on how the expenses are and what you want to buy...

If you're thinking about it, I would guess you've already made up your mind. Sounds like you're thinking the CCW is more important than the .357 range gun... reading into what you are saying...

If you have trouble selling it here, you could always list it on xdtalk.com. I can vouch for you over there and I bet Propellerhead would to... he's very active over there...

And you're right, my carry gun is more important than having a nifty caliber to take to the range. I was intrigued by the gun and the caliber, which was what motivated me to buy it in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the .357 SIG. I just want a carry gun more. And I don't yet feel the need to have a ton of pistols at one time that don't each serve a distinct purpose, such as the XD .45 for home defense, along with the 12 gauge for birds, clays, and possibly home defense. The .270 I'm getting this weekend for...well....shooting, lol. And then a carry weapon.
