I've had a Sig P228 (9mm) for a few years and have been looking to replace it with something a little fancier. By some strange stroke of luck, I ran into my sister's best friend's cousin's nephew's husband who has a like new (complete with broken firing pin) Jennings 9mm he's looking to trade. I don't remember the exact model, but it's a nice, heavy little piece. Obviously, I told him I couldn't trade him straight up, but he said he'd throw in some cash, as much as $200. So I jumped on it. Now I just need to find a gunsmith to fix my new piece. Fuck yes, I'm so psyched!

Nah, just kidding. However, I did have a guy offer to make that trade, even with the broken firing pin. He said he'd sell it for $230 ($200 is his bottom dollar) because he claims he paid $230 for it.
I suppressed my laughter and told him I really like my Sig and don't want to let it go. That's the truth too. Just not all of the truth.
