So I have been humping it in the weight room recently trying to get ready for the season coming up in a few weeks. I am sore as shit all over and I have to pitch to live batters tomorrow. I have eaten fresh pineapple, taken a hot shower, and taken my perscription NSAID (indomethacin). Is there anything else I can do to reduce the soreness that I haven't covered? Thanks for any advice in advance.

Stay well hydrated, try some potassium and fish oils.

Sometimes soreness can be cut out by upping your protein. But do yourself a favor and try to find some Traumeel, It cost about 13 bucks, and I haven't found anything that works on DOMS like it does.

Get used to being sore and learn to love it, not hate it.

I do love the feeling, it's just really, really, really hard to pitch when I'm so sore its hard to get out of bed.

Water has always made the biggest difference to me. When I'm taking in a couple gallons a day, soreness is minimal.

Tho a hot shower is soothing and relaxing, it's not as good for your muscles as an ice cold bath.
Plain old aspirin works for me.
