I was gonna post that you need to take the bolt carrier group out and give it a good look.
I could say I have 200 rounds through my Bushmaster, when in fact it's had over 10,000....
Post up good pics of the rifle and BCG...

Snatch it up or give us the guys info. As long as it checks out it is worth that even more so in today's black rifle market.

Hey I have 4 ARs that have zero rounds outside of Del-Ton's test fire. By summer should have another 4-5 just like it. That will change though and they will never be for sale. :23:
Now where is Don with my Anvil Lowers. :umbrella: j/k Don I know we have a few more months.

I have 4 ARs (been dealing/trading for some guns and ARs make nice bartering pieces).
1 Rock River Arms (work gun) has had about 400 rounds through it
1 Bushmaster has had over 10k
1 RRA with Preditor Pursuit Upper has had about 50 rounds (to get it scoped in)
1 Anvil Arms has zero rounds
My plinker is my Romanian AK47. Has had 10k plus through it. Runs all day...

x2 I have one and see no need for more than one.....I have 1 bolt action long range gun, 1 pistol, 1 semi-auto rifle, 1 semi-auto .22 squirel killer, and probably pick up a shot gun at some time but I see no need for more than one of any type of gun

You have one just like I have one plus a few more. Someone once told me also that one is none, two is one. That and I have more than one for my family and future family for when someone tells me that we can't. I just happen to own the ones for my family just like you own the one for you.
It is an excersise of my 2A, use it for what it is or we will slowly loose it, right?
For the same reason people purchase SBRs, suppressors, SBS, etc. To use the full length of our 2A.
Hell I have a mustang and two trucks for me and my wife, thinking about another mustang. Same reason. Because I can. :fing02:

What calibers? I'm thinking about one in 6.8 or 6.5 Grendel. I'm just not sure which would be better or cheaper yet.

why would anyone need/want that many ar15s?When it's your hobby, you want more than one. Wouldn't you like to have a 93 Cobra, a 03/04 Cobra and the new Shelby even though you can only drive one at a time?

Oh, and I get to write off guns and ammo on my taxes. One of the few perks..

I'm learning something new every day in this forum. I had no idea guns can actually go UP in value with age. I would think they would be like TV's, when a new model, with better technology comes out, the old stuff would go down in prices. Interesting.

Go to any gun store and look at the same apples to apples rifle I bought for $795. Retailers are asking around $1200 for the same damn thing.
My buddy has a Ramo .50 BMG and he paid about $5k for it back in the late 70's. The only one I've seen for sale lately has a $30k price tag.
Or look at ammo. Back in the early 2000's I bought 300 round South African battle packs for about $30 each. I've seen them selling now for $149 each.
I'm glad I still have 13 battlepacks in my safe!

They are only going to continue to go up given our current economic and political status. Your a Popo, know body has to tell you that bad economy = higher crime = more law abiding citizens buying firearms to protect themselves and investments.
Hell if I would have sold my stocks in 1999 and invested in ammo I would be rich right now. lol Seems I lost it since Aug faster than I could spend it. (well maybe not that fast)
To OP:
Good buy, now go by some ammo and mags. By some I mean in the quantities of 1,000 rounds at a time and you are going to want about 6 mags per rifle.
