What would it be?
I will be buying four HUNTING rifles in different calibers. One for my dad, brother, myself, and my son. I want them all the same model and will be putting the same optics on them so they look the same. What are your suggestions?

Go with a remington 700 for sure. .270 .308 and 30/06 for the guys and a .243 for the boy. Plenty of options for scopes but simmons is good and not going to break the bank.

Four rifles in different calibers but all the same model? So we're talking about rifles which can be chambered differently, kind of lowers your choices. Bolt action or semi?

270, 308, 30 06 in that order. But 270 hands down for a all around rifle.

Browning BAR MkII in 30.06. Not sure what other calibers are available since I bought it in 1996 or thereabouts.

Remington 700's are nice but don't get the base model SPS or what ever it is. Get a 700 BDL,P, Sendero. My dad just bought a Savage model 12 with accu-trigger, and bull/flutted barell in .308. IMO it is the best gun for the money.
Remington 700 Milspec-5 FTW!

I guess I misunderstood the question. I don't know that anyone makes a simple model of so many calibers that you seem to be asking. If you are asking "make", then I think I would recommend Remington. They are priced well, well built and have been around for years.

Remmington 700 but I am partial to the .308 for bolt guns.
I really like my cousin's Browning A-Bolt in 7mm-08. That's some of the finest deer medecine ever.

I was about to recommend the 7mm 08. I got mine when some guys left their little travel trailer on our land after several seasons. We kept calling them to come get it, and they said they didn't want it. It wasn't roadworthy and was rotting out. No one had been in it in years, so I jimmied the door, and found tons of stuff, but the main thing they forgot was the rifle. Case and all. Love that gun.

I have hunted with Rem 700's Savage 99's and browning BAR's I would recomend the Remington first quick action altho in the 06 size cals short stroking in the heat of the moment is common the Browning is a great rifle but its heavy so if your stalking it gets old if your in a stand who cares
My current (and probably last rig) is a steyr scout with a 2.5x leupold in 308 great rifle light short and quick my other rig is a rem 788 in 308 I like both because they are mag fed so you can have a second mag loaded ready to go and not have rounds clinking in your pocket 308 is good for anything in north america tho it is a little light for Bear tho most cal's are also
What cal's are you thinking of getting?
