I know that there was a ChL instructor on the board at one time, a couple of friends and I are wanting to take the course. PM me if so.

Anyone else know where we can get it done the last weekend of the month. We had planned to take a class and it was canceled, so we are looking for another option. :banghead:

This is a hell of a guy:

http://www.chltx.com/

He's a former Marine and teaches a good class. He's who I took my CHL class from (even though I didn't have to take it).

Hey man...the woman and I were looking to take it Feb 1st (Saturday is filled) up in Grapevine if you want to join. I have to email them to make sure they have 2-3 spots though. I havent signed up yet... They cost a bit more, but it is close to my house

We can go to the other one but it looks like they are full for the weekend.

If you feel like coming to Sherman, I'm taking the class Feb. 24th (saturday, at 7:30 a.m.)

If there's any interest, post up or PM me and I'll check on how many spots are open.

That is such a garbage range. I got hit with a .45 ACP ricochet at that range ... it was only the jacket, but it wasnt fun digging it out of my face. Also, i dont think they offer CHL classes due to there instructor leaving.

I received an email from them today verifying my registration and there dates were off, I'm waiting for verification. It also appears they have changed the class location. Below is the email I received:

You are registered for the Concealed Handgun Class, January 31, 2009, which will be held at the Comfort Suites, 1805 Enchanted Way, Grapevine, TX76051. Class will begin at 7 am and end around 6 pm. Pizza will be served for lunch around noon.

We will be driving to the range, Sunday February 1, 2009. Therefore, you can secure your handgun into your vehicle in the hotel parking lot and removed when we arrive at the range, or you can bring it to class unloaded.

See you Sunday February 1, 2009.

From what I've heard is around a 90day wait. I sent my packet & payment to Austin like 2 months ago so I'm not sure if that will speed it up or not.

When did you register? Im checking with work to make sure I can get off of work, but the woman and I should be in on Feb 1 also. I got an email from Marjorie earlier today saying there were still spots left.

We registered around lunch yesterday. We called to make sure they were going to have enough spots, and then registered. Dan called back and said they were going to have enough room for us and then close the class.
