Just bought a sling for my 870 and was wondering the best place for the butt stock mount? Under, or on the side? Ive seen both. It looks to be harder to drill underneath due to the curvature of the stock. Any advice? Thanks

If it was mounted under, wouldn't the gun try to rotate over on it's side while hanging on the shoulder?

Well I got it mounted now. All I lack now is my Tactical 18" barrel. Hopefully that will be in this week.
