1/17 would be a decent date, weekend and not too far off. Time is something we'd have to agree on as well as a location.
I was speaking to a few folks last night that live in the mid cities area, so anywhere really.
What do you guys think?

Dates can be adjusted, just trying to get a few people involved! I could def be interested on the 18th.
Do most ranges have the option of buying their ammo and testing out their handguns? Just trying to get some ideas of a purchase.

Most ranges sell ammo. I've never seen a range let you 'test' out a gun, however, most will rent you one for a fee.

That's what I meant, but I hear you have to buy their ammo, which is not problem.

I'm not really interested in doing any range shooting right now but I wouldn't mind doing some skeet shooting.

Wasn't sure what range you were shooting for, if it's outdoors some have skeet ranges too. I just figured some people might want to bring along their shotguns too and shoot some clay.

I had no idea some ranges had a mixer of that. Any specific ones located centrally for most folks? We could do it there!

Sounds good. I haven't shot clays in about 5 years, I think I could still hit one or two.

I'd be willing to go shooting if someone had some land to shoot at.

Id definitely be in if that were the case. Just not worth it to drive and only shoot my p22.

I don't really know anyone with land.
Just bought a Mossberg 500... trying to find some tactical gear for it. Anyone recommend a certain site? Mainly just looking for a stock, heat shield(prob go with a Mossberg brand for fitment), and a light/mount. Seems I can't find a damn site that has it all to make one single order.

If you don't mind driving to the outskirts of Royse City one of my buddies has a setup for rifles and handguns. Out in the boonies so we can shoot right of the huge deck...

Do you have any more details on the glass? who makes it, thickness, what it goes in?
I have been told that the vehicles i work on can withstand a few rounds of .50 cal. I am really interested in seeing how it holds up.

Its an older Lexan that was used on our vans. Not sure who the lexan is made by, and probably about 3/4" thick. It was mainly used to stop small rifle and handgun ammo, but like i said if someone has some land i would love to shoot at it.
