ive had one for a year now and hadnt really played it much, but now i have a wii. anyway what all can be done on the ps3 , i can buy games etc.. with internet on the Wii..

That and Rockband are the only reasons we decided to get one. We only have one other game and we rarely play it. lol

other than games, blu-ray playback, and up-converted standard dvds, the ps3 makes a perfect media center computer.

i run tversity (free program) on my personal desktop, and tversity streams my downloaded blu-ray movies to my ps3 in 720p and dolby digital 5.1. not to mention my entire music folder is shared on my ps3. pretty versatile machine.

how do they download movies like the commercials shows them doing it??, does it have wireless like the wii???

ps3 has wifi built in. go the playstation store from your ps3, they have games and movies you can buy.
