Sorry for the crappy pics, but I had to show it off. It's a taurus PT1911 the only thing I want to do is pick up a set of pachmayer grips, and shoot it.

I have the same gun and love to shoot it. eventually you might change out the thumb safety though as they are cheap mine broke on the first trip to the gun range. have not had a problem since though who knows how many thousands of rounds and still kicking.

what did you replace it with, a wilson combat? or is there another brand you can reccomend.

yes I put the wilson combat tactical safety on and have not had any problems with it I also like the fact that it is a smaller safety so less to snag if you carry it in a holster.
