Does anyone remember a game for SNES that was a two player airplane game? It was a top down view vertical scroller old school like game, and you could get weapon upgrades and stuff like that... It was my favorite game for the SNES and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I'm fucking dying over here thinking so hard...

The only game I remember like that is 1943, but I thought that was for the NES??

I remember that game, and it was alot like that, but better graphics, and I'm absolutely positive it was for the SNES. It also had a status bar for each player running vertically up the side that was silver or something very similar, with charge amount of special weapons, number of lives, etc...

you picked your special weapon before each level (i still reference the "Mega Beam Cannon" on occasion) and you could attach yourself to the other players jet for lord knows what reason.
