Anyone catch tonight's action? Tonight's supercross main event was one the best one's I have watched in a while. The Stewart/Reed crash was good but it was even better when K-Dub ran into Stewart as he was trying to get off the track. Oh, and the best part of it is how Grant got his 1st supercross win on his 1st attempt while the tuff block plastic was stuck to his swinger! Great action, can't wait for Phoenix.

best part for me was Jason Lawance going down.

Caught the end of that. Nice to see some parity, finally.

RACE TWO IS IN THE BOOKS.

Reed made Stewart work for the win, and Grant did a good job at pulling off a third.

Glad Dungy got first in the lites. Lawrance did not even make it to the main, and too bad for Canard for biting it in his heat race.

all in all, i think it is going to be an awesome season this year, and it make me want to road trip to houston even more.

should be a good season. people saying stewart was pacing reed at A1... it appears to be going both ways. reed looks smooth and fast, like he has more speed on tap. i hope they all stay healthy. it would be nice to see short on the top of the podium once this season.

Stewart still has speed on tap guys. Reed is just getting better. Reed obviously is VERY comfortable on the zuk. Ive seen vids of him practicing and he looks way faster than he used to on the yami. Stewart is just getting smoother and smoother, which hes gonna have to do to stay on two wheels on the yami. He just isnt nearly as comfortable as in the past. Then again, you can only go so fast on a supercross track, maybe Reed just found those few tenths he needed to stay on stewart. Reed is posting up unbelievably fast lap times now. Used to Stewart could throw down one fast lap and thats it...not so easy now. I hate Chad Reed but I gotta say, he looks way more comfortable than Stewie on the zuk. I want James to go privateer next year like hes been hinting with JSE, and pick him up a honda to ride. JS would be murdering on any other bike I think. I think of all the 4 bikes, stewart is on the worst one. Everyone knows the yamaha is a troubled chassis in the turns, and thats where he makes up his time on the field. Obviously this proved true with Chad. Look how much faster he is now. Yami better step up with a new bad ass bike next year!

Villi looks real good on the new kawi, and everyone I know with a kawi loves that bike. Short is still a top 3 contender. Honda needs them a JS or a Chad Reed. Their riders just arent gonna get the job done. CR and JS put like 45 seconds on the whole field in phoenix! No one can hold their pace for that time.

oh yeah, the bike thing.....since when does Reed put time on Stewart in the whoops??? JS looked like shit in the whoops! And usually he blazes EVERYONE in the whoops! Reed looked way better through the rollers!

took the words from me on the whoops and even some cornering, i was very impressed with reeds corner speed and the whoops might as well been a straight away for reed, stewart looked like he was on a pole go stick.
honda def. needs a new rider(s) i couldnt believe they kept who they had..hell i may need to put josh back on a big bike the way those guys are riding. Oh or put summey back on a honda he also looked really good even tho he is on a ktm.
we will be at houston, should be a good time.

Well put Redhead. . .

The yami motor has been bullet proof for years, and the few years yami had ahead of everyone with the 400 and 426 shall forever be in the books of experience, but that chassis needs help. I had an '03 that ran like a scalded dog, but it was like driving a school bus through a berm. . . .

I was thinking about the dated yami as I watched stew kick helplessly in the whoops after him and reed got tangled up. . .

This will be an interesting year. Kinda resembling how the NFL is shaking up. . . .

I much as I hate to say this, because I cant stand Reed.....but either he looks like he found some speed this year or Bubba has dropped off because of the yamadog. Either way, I do enjoy the close battles ALOT!!!!!!

Hopefully closer to the end of the season RV will come into his own on the 450 and be up their battleing with bubba and Reedy. Also, I think RV will do better in the outdoors and possibly even beat Bubba.......we shall see.

And Reed is still a pussy because he doesnt race MX.:yup:

really, i think it is just drive for reed. he has everything to prove and everything to lose. like i said, i just hope they can stay rubber side down and battle.

remember when everyone thought kdub was going to be it, but he never could get it together compared to ricky. Rv might end up in the same boat. all that potential, but no titles in the premier class. hopefully not, he is way too good.

the lites class is crazy. all that talent and two of the fastest did not make the main. next race will be intense.:fing02:

lites will b dungey all the way. RV has only raced two races in SX and done pretty well. Windham sucks. Hes smooth and throws nice whips but he aint got shit on anyone anymore. Hes got a family to worry about.

I agree with everything you said except the Windham comment. Windham is a stud, what is he 30 something now still out placing in the top 5 usually?
