My build thread...


I figured I would post a few pictures of my 2005 YFZ 450. I bought in late November, rode it once, and then started the build. It was pretty rough but I think it is going to turn out well. Not a bad bike for $2,500 bucks though.

Here are some after pictures. I am still waiting on some parts to arrive and I have decided to switch out the exhaust systems. I still have to take a few other parts to the chrome shop too. These pictures just have the wheel sitting next to the bike, that's why it may look a little goofy.

I'm hoping to have it all back together by next weekend. I won't make the GTG but I should be at the next one.

thanks! Need a new front bumper though, sold the ugly Blingstar Ironcross bumper last week.

However my quad will be going up for sale soon, gonna be getting a bike this time around

I ordered them off of Blingstar's website. Then I got a call the next day saying they were on backorder for a few months. She asked if I still wanted to order them and I said no thanks. I'm not spending $160 bucks for a graphics kit with an unknown arrival date:wtf1:

You got a good looking bike. Mine should look 10 times better once it is all put back together and cleaned up. My goal was to have the build complete 4 weeks after I started but that has since went by the wayside.

I am selling my Looney Tuned Dual Exhaust and have just bought a GYTR pipe and muffler. I noticed that you are running the same pipe. How do you like it and could you feel a difference in power? Also are you running a stock header?

Waiting for the last couple of parts to come in. It should be up and running by this weekend although I have been saying that for a while.
