i rolled up on that wreck this morning about 6:45..i was getting diesel at the little he-bob station right in front of the wreck scene. Had one of the cops come over and ask me how much longer i was going to pump gas. I told him i had 30 more gallons to go, then they got a tarp out and held it so no one could see, while they brought the body out the ambulance for pictures. The car was fucked up thats for sure. The bike was hauling some serious ass to do that kind of damage. Caved in the driver side of the car and spun it around.

Sucks the person in the car was injured. As for they guy on the bike.....he would rather die than get a red light ticket? I'd say he got what he asked for.

saw it on the news tonight. That is some crazy shit. Never ride that fast where there are side streets. Pull over and take the ticket.

When the thread was posted, they hadn't released his name yet.

I found him on myspace but he didn't look familiar, though 3 of the people on his "top friends" are kids i went to highschool with. :(

the guy hadn't gotten any speeding tickets, had no warrants, etc. never in trouble. then he decides to try and run from the cops for running a light?

I'm guessing that he sat at the lights before and they don't change for bikes, and so he didn't want to try and sit at them waiting on a car to pull up. I've been at plenty of lights late at night where I'm sitting there forever and they don't change cause I'm on the bike. never have run one though. I usually just turn and then bust a u-turn and come back to where I'm trying to go.

Why didn't he have a plate on the bike if he was such a good law abiding guy?

All that means is that he's never been caught. What a selfish jackass, I feel for the driver and his family.

Yeah, the guy in the car has got to feel like shit even though it wasn't his fault. I don't feel bad for the rider; he made his choice.
