Haven't seen anything like this before. Still working on it, and will get more, better pictures when I'm finished.

1968 door skins, fenders, hood and front end. Not diggin the wheels, but I kinda like the rest. Even has chrome bumpers and door handles :D

Was it red and black? Does it have a big hole in the block? :D Same guy owns this one.

That doesn't look nearly as bad as the classic/c5/6? vette abortion that is rolling around Arlington. Interesting.

No...I think it was dark grey...looked like an elenor copy pretty much. Mannys tuning doesn't put holes in the block :)

Great fab skills put to terrible use. That's disgusting.

The lights look like cheapo's. Maybe go with the round in-board's like the '67's had. It would help fill in the big grille.

No pressure. Just want it back before I go in for surgery.

It's well done, but it shows how hard it is to make the new mustangs appear to not be as heavy and bulky as they are. Looks like a fat 65.

The car is neat, but the foglights look like they were bought at Autozone for $20.

The Real 68 GT500KR's come with those cheap looking lights. I always like the big round ones myself.

If you have money to spare it would be a neat addition to the collection.

Bad ass!

It also has some major surgery on the rear quarter panels to give it those "hips". I wanna see the back.

Here's a 68 for comparison...

Mannys tuning doesn't put holes in the block :)

I don't want to start an e-fight, but I beg to differ with this statement. :disappointed:

I was dissapointed at what happened and even more dissapointed with the response afterwards. I immediately took the gray one and had it retuned by someone else.

The Real 68 GT500KR's come with those cheap looking lights. I always like the big round ones myself.

Yes, those are "Lucas Lights". Original Lucas Lights run $200-$400 per set these days. I got those from a local classic car mechanic who is from England. He has quite a few. Lucas Lights were basically cheap lights back in the days when they were used on the original KR's.

This car (and the other two like it) are tributes to the original '68 GT500KR. A little too true to the original in a few spots (the front lower valance, for example).

Here are a bunch more pictures of the white one:

Wow that is a badass car Nick. I was trying to imagine it as you were describing it. Your description didn't give it justice. Nice cars musclecarfinders!
