this kid in my town with a 2005 Mustang Gt Automatic, with the cervinis c-500 body kit from Sanderson's Mustang Shop (crock of shit mustang performance shop) running around thinking he is the shit because he has spent over 10 grand in body work, and for as far as i know just done petty bolt ons to the performance side of the car. I mean the car looks nice don't get me wrong, but i saw it at northstar and it ran a 9.7, shit my 1100 dollar 88 gt ran better then that haha.

It just feels like the Mustang crowd is becoming into another ricer fad, where everyone try's to see how many lights they can cram under their car, or how big of a rear spoiler can get. I know i am only 18, and to most of you guys im just a punk newb, but i know that ricer shit is bullshit, and i would much rather have a car that looked like shit and would spank ass then a car that looked good but ran slower then a Honda Crx.

oh and another thing, does the sn95 v6 have something on that says "once you buy it, you have to make it ugly"? because almost everyone i see is a piece of rice shit.

does anyone else agree with me?

the reason why i have a bad opinion of Sanderson is because they are way to expensive and i feel like they rip people off, i know its free enterprise because that is what they told me,

When i was 16, i went up there thinking that being that they are a performance shop that maybe they can get deals from certain places on parts..

so i asked for a quote on PARTS ONLY for a Aluminum DS, Pro 5.0 shifter, and a TKO.

for all that they said $5500 parts only..

last time i checked.
DS = +- 200
Shifter = +- 200
TKO = +- 2000
that's 2400..

so where the hell do they get 5500.

Oh..and i had a 1072 chevy c-10, and i heard they did paint jobs, i asked for a basic gloss black, with me doing most of the prep work.. they said 7500..

just seems a bit high to me..

How straight was it? being a 72 I bet it had most of the odd and end dings on it. With the truck going to be black and for it to be done right 7500 seems like a pretty good price. Im a painter and im tired of people wanting a "basic" paint job and want to spend $500 - 1000. Just the paint is around 500. It gets on my nerves

sold the $1100 gt, i got a $2800 gt now, but i broke a shift fork, so i need a rebuilt, or good condition t-5 to throw back in it, then that is what my plans are..

well, sorry for calling it a performance shop, they have two sections, one for performance and one for body/ paint. it may be hard to run a shop, but there is no sense in running off people.

i don't envy him, i just did not think it was cool to take credit for someone else s work. but you are right, his dad had the money so they can do whatever with it, i just thought it was shitty for the guy who put the wrench time in on the car.

he did some of the work on his mustang because he works at the place that did it, so that is respectable i just think its dumb to spend more money on looks, then performance no sense in have a car that looks fast if its slow as shit.
