About 2 months ago I posted up about not having any video output on my pc. It ended up being the motherboard, of which I'm on my 4th one now. I then had video output (the onboard video was super shitty, lines all over the monitor but it cleared up when I connected to my video card) but the PC would shut off after running for 20 seconds. Then it would progressively run for shorter and shorter durations. I figured the processor was shot, and since the motherboard I bought had lines all across it, I figured I'd upgrade the motherboard and of course memory as well.
Now I've got no video output at all again, and this is my 2nd mobo. First one was an Asus, now I'm using an MSI. The memory is compatible and I even bought an extra 2 sticks in case it was an issue.
"New" non-functioning setup is as follows:
MSI platinum mobo - compatible w/ 775 sockets
Intel 2.66 Core 2 quad processor
GeForce video card - 9600GT w/ 1gig whatever
775 watt power supply
2 sticks of corsair memory, 1086 bus, 1 gig each
2 sticks of OCZ memory, 1150 bus, 1 gig each
And a partidge in a pear tree
The pc starts, has no warning beeps saying anything is awry. Mobo LED's say all is normal. No output in either PCI-E slot.
I'm tired of throwing money at it and just need a"pro" to do it.
Any suggestions?
