Does anyone have any insight on this?

No insight but that's scary stuff if its true.

Look at the bright side. We now have a bottom on the Baltic Dry Index. The downside is that we had to go almost to zero to find that bottom. Things have slowed down on the railroad, but one thing that will always keep us in business is coal. With the price of grain so low the large Grain Elevators are sitting on their grain hoping prices will come up instead of selling and shipping it at the current rate. In a couple of months winter wheat will begin to be harvested and then the Grain Elevators are going to have to make a decision.

I heard that Obama wants to bankrupt industries that use coal because it causes too much global warming.

That was typical campaign spin. To the contrary he actually supports the clean coal industry and has promised federal aid.

Just wait until your boy obama gets done with the coal industry. BTW winter wheat is harvested in late June to mid July. ;)
