$3k+ for decent carbon fiber wheels is the norm. Not sure how much those are exactly. A lot of times you need to buy different rotors and other shit to get them to work on your bike too! You can easily have $4-5k wrapped up in it when it's all done just to have some ballin wheels on a sportbike!

These wheels were revealed for the first time at SEMA, they are real. I haven't done research on them but there aren't any spokes.

Yeah, that bike is a showpiece for the LRG (lifted research group) clothing line. Off the top of my head it was built in Florida, but I don't remember who did it. Centers of the wheels are plastic.

I think spokes look killer on sportbikes, all my friends think I'm on crack.

Those BST Carbons are the shit! One of the long term GSXRs in MotorCyclist magazine had a set with some carbon rotors. The front wheel/rotor weighed 8.9 lbs, sans tire!

it's a real bike. was in a jason britton's mag one month. I believe the center of the wheel is lexan, or some type of clear plastic. they have the same wheels for cars.

Those BST's are the bomb! Just don't hit any hard square edged bumps. lol
Those clear wheels are made of a poly carbonate. They are actually d.o.t. legal.
