Anyone have one I can borrow for a short while. I replaced my kickstart shaft and to get everything back together I need something to hold the inside of the basket while I get it to torque spec. I have seen guys use old metal plates from the clutch but my clutch looks great so I dont have any of those to make a holder out of.

This is on a kx250

Thanks

put it in high gear and wedge something in the primary sprocket.

Ouch that sounds like it would hurt the gear teeth. I guess I could use a small wood block as it wouldnt mess up the teeth.

pull the spark plug and feed a nylon rope into the cylinder. or put in high gear and have somebody hold the rear brake down.

This is what I do, but by myself. It's like playing twister.

I have the clutch hub holding tool as well. I do not recommend torquing the basket while its in gear. Bad idea.
