It belongs to a friend that bought it for his 16 year old son and finally came to his senses and decided to seel it. It already has brand new exhaust and a bunch of other things done to it.

I love that R1! But, it's hard as hell to keep white wheels looking good/clean. I had them on my GSXR and had to clean the wheels every day.

Man what was your friend thinking buying that bike for a 16 year old :eek: Appreciate the offer but I'm waiting till probably Spring time before I'm seriously looking for a bike. Just finished paying off 3 credit cards and going to start doing Christmas shopping done next. Than I'll be getting my Stang running properly again which has been a long time coming. Maybe you'll be ready to sell your bike to me again by than :D

Agreed, the white wheels are sort of a turn off for me because of the maintenance necessary. I'd probably want them glossy black personally.

The price might be steep for a stock bike in that year with similar mileage but this thing is pretty customized considering just the paint and wheels. You start adding all the other parts and that it was a shop/display bike and I'd be willing to pay a premium knowing it was taken care of.
