If OU loses to Mizzo in the BIG 12 championship, then it will be Texas going to Miami.

I know nothing is guaranteed, but that is!

and?

The media has been promoting Texas for the past week, ever since the speculation of OU jumping Texas with a win over OSU came out. I think Brent Musburger had an on air orgasm when he was talking about Texas during the OU game, and they had Mack Brown call in for an interview DURING the damn game. If that is not trying to shove a team down someones throat, I don't know what is.

Winner of the SEC championship is in the NCG.

With both Alabama & Florida winning yesterday, that killed a OU vs Texas NCG rematch

Nah but between my job as a Vice Principal and the Aggies season I have had no time or reason to talk. My team is last in the Big 12 essentially, I work about 65-75 hours week right now; however, it sure is fun to watch all the UT fans squirm about the three way tie. Then as if I wasn't being humored enough someone starts a thread all but crowning UT the Big 12 south kings this morning, LOL. I am sure UT will end up with a bowl win and lots of money. I also think OU or UT could beat Bama, not so sure about Florida.

My complaint all season long has been with Mack Brown. I don't blame any coach for running up the score. The system makes it necessary...especially the last few games. You can't tell what makes the difference anymore. If UT had beaten aggie by 54 instead of 40, would it have helped? We don't know either way.

I think that's more a fault of Mack Brown than of the other coaches. It's the one thing I really don't like about his style. Normally, I'd be all about the class but it hurts UT in the long run.

theres a reason for that dipshit.if a team only plays half a game due to pummeling teams, what happens whan they have to play four quarters?they will be wornout due to being pulled out of the games prior when they were way ahead.

Never mind kiddo...it was over your head. I'm not here to agree with other "UT poster's". I said Bradford stayed in the game after scoring 66 points against A&M (among other things). If someone wants to disagree with why, that's fine, but it's still true...

yes its true Bradford was in the A&M game at 66 points... no argument

Yes i understand your whole thing with Mack Brown & you'd wish he'd run up the score etc etc.

I'm just taking it as if you think Bradford stays in the game to actually to run up the score, when in fact OU usually kills teams by halftime or mid 3rd qt.

from another board, take it for what its worth

Here are some fun stats on OU running up the score this season:

22:11 - Chattanooga
4:10 - Cincinnati
16:39 - Washington
4:44 - TCU
7:51 - Baylor
6:41 - Kansas
6:41 - Kansas State
17:01 - Nebraska
21:23 - Texas A&M
13:54 - Texas Tech

Those numbers add up to:
121 minutes, 15 seconds.

That's the amount of time between the last snap Sam Bradford took and the end of the game. There were 2 games (Texas and Oklahoma State) in which Bradford took every offensive snap. That's over 2 hours, more than TWO ENTIRE GAMES that Sam Bradford did not play because he was sitting on the bench.

Oklahoma was 11th in the Big 12 in fourth quarter scoring.
Texas was 2nd.

Against Texas A&M, Texas scored 21 points in the fourth quarter, all while ahead by at least 25 points. Up until that point in the entire season Oklahoma had only scored 48 points in the fourth quarter.
