Academy was packed this morning!

I was there about 7:30am and the firearms dept was packed. I picked up that Taurus 9MM they had for $229 in their add, seemed like an ok deal. They were out of AR's, I kept hearing several people asking about them. One of the workers said "they get 3 shipments each week and a few each time so keep checking".

Also, S&W has some decent rebates from $25-75 off their firearms too


Time to get to the range and get my CHL :D

Edit: I actually retract that statement. There are occasions when I do drink before noon, but that's only when some asshole who posts on this board with an S/N of "Stephen" forces me to take a shot of Rumple Minze at 10am before playing disc golf.

i have no idea what youre talking about :D i dont do much night drinking and i like to play drunken disc golf early.. im like an old man when im not working... im in bed by 9pm.. btw since we are in the armory do you wanna go to the range on monday??

They had to have quite a few on hand, they opened at 5am I believe and I got their at 7:30am and still bought one. A guy in front of me got one as well.

The link says its a discontinued model. I don't know a thing about firearms so I'm hoping that its not a bad thing because I'm considering picking one up.

I just shot the one my wife bought this morning and its a pretty nice little gun for the money . Too bad they didn't have it in a .40 or I would have had her pick me up one for myself .

yeah thats why I stayed away, not too much interest in a 9mm myself.
