Where do you guys purchase your weights at? Dumbbells mainly!

I was looking around at prices at Academy and some other big shops... $$$

you can probably find some good deals on used ones on craigslist. the good thing about it is that they are all local. so no shipping on heavy weights.

Good luck. I have been looking for a few weeks for something too. Best price I have found is at Play It Again Sports with their used weights...but there isn't that many to choose from.

I found some decent deals on Craigslist... pending a phone call back and figuring out a way to pick it up, I might be on to something. ;p

Does anyone know who may be interested in 2 complete weight set ups? I've been trying to sell mine, so I don't have to move it. Its listed on here and I haven't really gotten serious offers. Any suggestions?

I don't have any dumbbells for sale, but I have a full standard olympic weight set that I'd sell for $70. $80 with a curl bar. I think there's 320-340lbs of weight. I also have a rack for the weights that I'd sell for $15.

Just get'em new at a specialized fitness store. The quality of caps weights isn't exactly up to par. You "may" get some that are accurate in terms of a plate truly being 45lb for example, but they are not consistent, they've been known to be off 2-5lbs. Stick with USA if you can find them, much more consistent in their quality.
