I feel like the writer of this story...in 1989, I was 13 or so, now to see Jr. take on a "political" career, damn I feel older.
I will never forget the game before the strike in 1994 when me and about 10 drunk friends donned the bleachers of the Ballpark about the 3rd inning. Most of my friends were drunk, fat and shirtless. We began to harass Jr., calling him a bum and what-not. Finally he turns around, points to my fat ass half Mexican, 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Egyptian friend that has his shirt off, and proceeds to do a sit-up, as if to say.."do some sit ups fat boy". Needless to say the entire outfield section busted out laughing...only to later applaud in the 7th inning when we were all kicked out. Some of the best 4 innings of baseball I have ever been a part of.
