Filled mine out 2 weeks ago. I still haven't got the box yet to send it in.

I filled out the form 2+ weeks ago and have not heard anything yet. From what I read on Rugers website you will be getting a free magazine that has a finger extension. They also promised to have the work done and on the way back to you within 1 week. The way I read it was that they would send you the shipping package when they get ready for yours and have the parts readily available. That way they can complete the work in a timely manner without getting bombarded with everyones guns at one time.

I am in the same boat. Filled out my form and waiting for the box.

i think the mag is worth it, plus I don't want my gun to go off if dropped. I'm not sure how likely that is, but they got me worried. :o

I dropped one of my Glocks with a chambered round...no boom, so I think I'll stick with a Glock for now...I was thinking about picking up an LCP not too long ago, too...

Don't expect it back quickly. I sent mine in on Dec. 30 and my dad sent his back in on Jan.5. Neither of us have received ours back yet. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

I finally received mine back this evening. I received a postcard today from them saying they were 4-5 weeks behind schedule due to shortage of parts kits. Right after that my doorbell rang and there was the UPS man with my gun.

They did not ship the magazine with the finger extension, but they did send an extra magazine. Apparently the finger extension piece is on backorder 4-5 weeks but they said they will ship it to me when it's available. They also sent me a Ruger LCP hat. It ended up taking about 5 weeks to get it back.

Exact same story today for me, I was about to post a thread about it. Fine with me though, as I'll end up with 3 clips. I got the hat too lol, it fits ok.

Mine was gone 3 weeks to the day.
I also got the cap, extra magazine without finger extension, and the letter explaining why there was no extension. I hope they send one. I was looking forward to getting it back quickly for that reason!!!!

Ya, mine has been in the safe too. I plan on using it for summer carry when wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I do plan on taking it to the range though.
