I want to buy a handgun fairly soon. I like the Taurus 24/7 Pro. It's in my price range and from what I've read, they're a pretty good gun. Any thoughts?

i dont care for how the trigger feels. it seems like i have to pull it forever before the gun fires

my experience with taurus has been very good. I just sold a revolver and my mom has a 380 taurus. Both are fine pistols. I think you'll be happy with it.

They make a light .38 that I was looking at this weekend, thinking it'd be good for my mom. I'd love to find one used.

The light one will kick harder. Buy a .357 and put .38's in it, that way if you ever take a notion to use real ammunition, you can.

Shot one last week, and you're right. It seemed to fire at the end of the trigger, but it was a light trigger.

They also had one made to shoot 20 gauge shells, have you shot anything of that nature?

The new Taurus 709 'Slim' will be out soon. I'll be picking one of those up I hope.

I have 2 Taurus Millenium's in 9mm for my wife, and .45 for me. Both seem like quality guns for the price. I actually think the feel is nicer then my Glocks...

I purchased the Taurus 24/7 .40 yesterday. I really liked the grip. It felt more comfortable in my hand than the Beretta PX4 Storm, which I really liked. It was a hard choice between those two, and the Glock. But for the price, I went with the Taurus.

Ya, I had the hammerless lightweight .357 5-shot. Loved it, but sold it for more than I got it for.

My son-in-law just bought the 24/7 in a .40 and really likes it. I have not fired it, but will Thanksgiving weekend.

And THIS is why I avoid anything involving the in-laws during the Holidays.
