For those of you with Del-Ton ARs...

DO they eat the Wolf cheap steel cased ammo without complaint? My buddy's Rock River started stovepiping the wolf casings after a while. i'm considering picking up an DelTon and was curious if they will shoot the Wolf stuff ok

The story I heard was the lacquer finish on steel cased ammo builds up in the chamber then causes ejection issues. Clean it good and you'll be fine. At least that's what the article said. I think it was on Box O Truth.

I wouldnt use any steel case ammo with ANY ar. Brass only. It will also void the warranty on DELTON's

x2...Del-ton will include a piece of paper stating very specifically that use of Wolf ammo will void the warranty. How they will know you used wolf I'll never know.

However, I've heard of many people using Wolf and having absolutely no problem.

I use it in my model 1 setup and it has yet to jam after 150 rounds.....just make sure to clean it well after shooting

My Delton doesnt have any problems with the new wolf steel cases.
