I just got it today after much anticipation. This is another tool in the arsenal for hog hunting. I haven't decided if I will install the bullet guide and trim the mag release latch for accepting hi-capacity AK mags (7.62x39).

KVAR had a coupon for all the parts and components to convert over to pistol grip AK.
I will receive 25% additional discount from the packaged literature.

looks good, what did that run you? I'm trying to decide between another ak or another saiga.

It cost me $668. 45 out the door. It has all KVAR parts which makes the best AK parts. I didn't know a local gunsmith in the area that could do the things that I would want on a stock Saiga. Plus mine has the X & Y markings, the dimples above the mag well, and the KVAR AK-74 flash hider installed. I can order a bullet guide, install it and I'll be able to use "Commie" AK magazines.
