Shepard Smith was a fucking douche in that interview. I'm not sure how much longer he can ride the success of being in the right place at the right time to cover the Katrina hurricane.

Nader actually had a good point, saying that it will be up to obama to decide to follow through on his campaign promises to the little man, or blow that all off and become a puppet to big business.

I dont like nader but he does have a good point. We do need to hold obamas feet to the fire. I think he was trying to make a play on words Uncle Sam or an Uncle Tom. Prob. not the best choice for him but he damn sure stood his ground when given the chance to retract his statement. Its all up to obama to prove to all of us he will not be an uncle tom.

The interviewer is making way too much of it. I don't see a problem with his choice of words.

Nader did not call him an uncle Tom he said would he be an Uncle Sam or and Uncle Tom and since he is Half white & half black I guess he can be either one. Nader did not back down he tried to tell the dumb reporter just what he said, no I don't care for Nadder :eek:
